Choi Hye-jin and Kim Hyo-joo, who are active on the U.S. stage, will be making their first appearance in the Korea Ladies

Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour this week.

This week's tournament is the Lotte Open, which will be held for four days starting on the 4th at the Bears Best Cheongna

Golf Club in Incheon City's US-Australia Course (par 72, 6,655 yards), with a total prize money of 1.2 billion won and the

winner's prize money of 216 million won.

Choi Hye-jin, who has 11 wins on the KLPGA Tour, including two as an amateur, has not had any recent wins, but Bears

Best Golf Club, where the tournament is held, is very happy.

Choi Hye-jin won last year's Lotte Open held at Bears Best, which is considered a difficult course, and came in third at the

2021 Lotte Open held at the same course.

He also showed his strength on this course, tying for 14th place at the Hana Financial Group Championship held on the

same course in September last year.

Choi Hye-jin said, "I haven't been feeling great with my shots or in good condition lately, but after a long time, I'm feeling

more psychologically stable and my condition is improving quickly as I prepare for the competition in a familiar

environment with a relaxed mind."

Hyo-Joo Kim, who has 14 wins on the KLPGA Tour (including amateur wins) and 6 wins on the LPGA Tour, will also

compete for the championship.

Kim Hyo-joo, who also won the Lotte Open (formerly Lotte Cantata Women's Open) held at Lotte Skyhill Jeju in 2020,

tied for third place at last year's Lotte Open.

Kim Hyo-joo, who will be representing Korea in the women's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, won the Ladies

European Tour (LET) Aramco Team Series Korea tournament held at the New Korea Country Club in Goyang-si,

Gyeonggi-do in May, honing her sense of 안전 shooting.

Kim Hyo-joo said, "I want to receive a lot of good energy from this competition and continue the momentum until the

Olympics."

Park Hyun-kyung, who is on the rise with three wins this season, including two consecutive wins, will also be competing.

Park Hyun-kyung is in her prime, ranking first in season target points and prize money.

Park Hyun-kyung, who is aiming for her fourth win of the season with three consecutive wins, said, "I have never

performed well on a flat course like Bears Best," but added, "I am confident that I can do well on any course with my

current sense of shots, so I would like to overcome my poor performance."

Lee Ye-won, who had been pushed back for a while by Park Hyun-kyung's rising popularity, is also determined to reclaim

the top spot in various records with her fourth win of the season.

In addition, Park Min-ji, who is aiming for her 20th KLPGA win, Park Ji-young, who has won two times this season,

Hwang Yu-min, Bang Shin-sil, and Yoon Ina will also compete for the championship.
